Enchanted Deck

This group of tarot cards were designed for a project within my time at university. Combining my interests of witch craft and illustration I created designs that were inspired by fantasy creatures, limiting my colour pallet and using gold accents to illuminate the cards, creating striking designs.

Here is some of my initial sketches, exploring different creatures, their textures and colours to determine which ones would work well as a Tarot Card design.

I would later consider the meaning of the card and link that to the symbolism of each creature, ensuring the over all design linked together.
